Nestled in the heart of Tallinn, Three Brothers is a cozy indie production house where creativity comes to life. We love making bold films in an intimate boutique setting that feels just right.
At Three Brothers, we're all about turning powerful stories into memorable audiovisual experiences. Our films cover a variety of genres, lengths, and origins, but they all have one thing in common – they leave a lasting impression. We work closely with handpicked directors and artists, bringing a unique blend of Estonian charm and international flair to every project.
With over a decade of experience, we've built strong, lasting partnerships and a reputation for our unique creative touch. Our goal is simple: to tell transformative stories that connect with people, no matter where they are.
Meet the Team

Producer
Elina Litvinova
Elina Litvinova is an Estonian film producer with extensive experience in international co-productions. She completed her BA studies at the Baltic Film and Media School in Tallinn (2010), followed by Simon Perry’s international co-production training at the Cologne International Film School (2011) and a Master's degree at the National Film and Television School (UK).
In 2015, she founded her production company Three Brothers, dedicated to auteur-driven cinema. The company’s first feature, Scandinavian Silence (2019), directed by Martti Helde and co-produced with ARP Selection, premiered at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and won the Europa Cinemas Label Award.

Since then, Three Brothers has been actively involved in both co-productions and service productions, including the multinational TV series Estonia (2022) and Alexandros Avranas's feature Apathy (2023), produced in collaboration with Worso Films, Elle Driver, and several European partners.
Most recently, Three Brothers co-produced Frida Kempff’s latest feature ‘’The Swedish Torpedo’’ and US debut feature ‘’Bubble & Squeak’’ by Evan Twohy, both films shot entirely in Estonia.

Elina's recent titles have premiered at the Toronto, Venice, and Sundance Film Festivals. She is a European Film Promotion "Producer on the Move", a member of EAVE, Berlinale Talents, Ex Oriente Networks, the Estonian Film Industry Cluster, and the European Film Academy.

Creative director
Martti Helde
Martti Helde is a highly valued director for his daring ideas and innovative approach to the film language. His debut feature ‘’In the Crosswind’’ premiered at the Toronto IFF in 2014, followed by more than 80 festivals, numerous critics’ and audience awards, as well as theatrical release in several countries. Helde’s second feature ‘’Scandinavian Silence’’ made on micro budget premiered at the Shanghai and Karlovy Vary IFF in 2019 winning the Europa Cinemas Label prize. Since then Martti Helde has been working on the upcoming feature documentary ‘’Vertical Money’’, short documentary ‘’Human Being’’ about Bobby Sagger, as well as been a creative director for the Estonian Pavilion at the World Expo Dubai 2020. In early development is also Helde’s new feature drama ‘’Silverwhite’’.

Director
Erik Tikan
Erik Tikan was born in 1989. After high school he joined the army and did a tour in Afghanistan in 2013 as an infantry soldier. After that Erik worked as a private security contractor around Africa.
Meanwhile Erik always had a passion for storytelling. So he began to learn photography and camera work. In 2018 Erik started his first job as a press photographer. He was focused on covering different conflicts. He has made stories about the French yellow vests riots and Hong Kong student protest and Belarus protest along documentaries about Afghan veterans and volunteers who fought in Syria. Now, since the war began Erik focused his work on Ukraine.

2020 – Press video winner. Award for the best press video of 2020 for the video "Robert". This is a short documentary about an Estonian man who fought against ISIS in Syria in 2014. Director and cinematographer.
2019 – Press video winner. Award for the best press video of 2019 for the video "Hongkongers Were Ready to Die, We Were Not". This is a video story about the Hong Kong protests and the escape from the siege of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Director and cinematographer.

Director
Triin Ruumet
Director Triin Ruumet (1988) is one of the most interesting new generation directors in Estonia. A diverse, unconventional and brazen director, her strength lies in her personal and somewhat irreverent approach to her subject matter.
In 2016, Triin Ruumet finished her debut feature, “The Days that Confused”, a look back at the thug culture of Estonia in the 90’s. The film was successful with 62,262 domestic admissions.
Triin is also the first laureate of the Anri Rulkov prize and directed Mati Unt’s “Good-bye, Baby” for the Nukuteater stage.
In 2023 her second feature ‘’Dark Paradise’’ was released. The film gathered nearly 10 000 admissions in the domestic post-Covid theatres and achieved more than 5000 streams on Telia during the first 4 weeks of release. The film is sold by Film Republic and has been screened in auteur festivals in Portugal, Latvia and several other countries.

Producer / Line producer
Karolina Veetamm
Karolina graduated from the Baltic Film and Media School in 2015 with a degree in Film Production and has continued to enhance her expertise through various training programs. She also gained valuable experience during an internship in Dubai.
Karolina has worked as a line producer on numerous international and local films, as well as documentary projects.This role she considers highly creative, combining teamwork and budget management.
Since 2021, she has been working with Three Brothers, contributing her expertise to various productions.

With experience managing budgets ranging from €200,000 to €15 million, Talvi brings her skills and attention to every project. Known for her joyful attitude, she makes the world of accounting approachable and even enjoyable for the entire team.
